Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer (Fresher), you will join the team to help manage and support application environments across a hybrid infrastructure (on-premises + cloud). This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in Linux, cloud concepts and containerization, who is eager to build their skills in modern DevOps practices. You’ll work under senior engineers in a collaborative setting and gradually take on responsibilities across infrastructure, automation and monitoring.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing & maintaining Kubernetes clusters on on-premises infrastructure, Azure and GCP (including GKE)  
  • Write and troubleshoot Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets)  
  • Support basic administration of middleware components like Redis, MongoDB, Kafka  
  • Monitor, debug and troubleshoot servers, clusters and services on a day-to-day basis  
  • Extract and analyse logs to identify issues and escalate appropriately  
  • Support configuration/connectivity checks under guidance  
  • Gain exposure to load-balancer technologies such as Traefik, Nginx, HAProxy  
  • Collaborate with CI/CD teams using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps  
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions and configuration updates  
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and technical learning sessions  

Skills & Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerised applications; experience with Docker preferred  
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, command-line tools and basic networking  
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP or AWS)  
  • Foundational knowledge of databases (MongoDB, Redis, Oracle etc.) and message brokers (Kafka)  
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version-control (Git)  
  • Eagerness to learn monitoring/alerting and debug skills  
  • Strong problem-solving attitude, initiative-taking mindset  
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)  

Interview Process

  • Round 1: Automated video call (30-60 minutes) assessing communication & technical skills — please ensure stable internet connection and ready resume.  
  • Round 2: Technical Round (in-person, live interview at Bengaluru office)  
  • Round 3: HR Round (one-to-one, in-person)
